We congratulate Martin Horn on his great success! Martin has a very special relationship with BC Wedel. He was a member of our club for many years and comes to us every year to train the best ladies from the European 3-cushion sport as part of the CEB courses.

The German Eurokegel Doubles Championships took place at the BC Wedel 61 clubhouse on 29 and 30 March 2025. A total of 9 teams competed in the jgj mode. In an exciting final, in which both the Saxon team Hehne-Haake from Freiberg and the local heroes Nachtmann-Schröder were unbeaten, the guests were able to win the DM title in the decisive set. The Wedel duo were left with an outstanding silver medal, of which they are all very proud. The Lüdemann-Lorkowski team from BG Hamburg narrowly missed out on a podium place in 4th place. On 12 January 2025, this year’s North German Youth Championship U21 took place in the free game discipline with 4 participants at BC Wedel 61. The defending champion Emmy…… von Massow started with a victory in the first round against newcomer Luka Brenneiser from BC Bergedorf. At the next table, the up-and-coming 18-year-old Joshua Lorkowski from BG Hamburg put in a very focussed performance against home hero Erik Mankowski.
